Customer Care

Our products

Le Galeriste produces exclusive reproduction of works of art signed by the artists, on premium clothing made in Montreal, Canada.

Given the amount of orders we process each day, the availability of any merchandise on the site is always subject to change. The best way to stay up to date on new arrivals, promotions, and sales is to sign up for our newsletter.


Shipping Policy 

All orders are dispatched from our Montreal office, located in Quebec, Canada. We provide shipping services across Canada and the United States through reputable carriers, namely Canada Post, USPS, and FedEx. Regrettably, we do not offer a pick-up option at this time.

During the order placement process, you can choose a faster shipping method according to your preferences. The estimated time for delivery will be displayed while browsing the available shipping options during checkout.

In the event that an incorrect address was entered during the checkout process, kindly get in touch with our dedicated customer care team promptly at customercare@legaleriste.com. They will promptly assist you in updating the address to ensure a seamless delivery.


Reporting a Defect & our Return Policy

Although every single product goes through thorough Quality Control before leaving Le Galeriste, imperfections still happen at times. If you notice a defect or a discrepancy in sizing with one of your products, please submit a “Report Defect Request” through the “Report Defect” option available on the Order View platform.

Returns: In our efforts to reduce waste and decrease our environmental impact, embodying the values we truly believe in, we do not accept returns. Everything we produce is made-to-order, meaning that every single item purchased is specifically made for you and returned items cannot be resold. Please have a look at our size charts before you confirm your order.


Sizing

We understand that picking a size can be difficult sometimes, which is why we offer the following information to help you make a decision.

Size conversion chart: You can find our size conversion chart by clicking on the 'View size conversion chart' tab on the product page. This chart is meant as a general guide only. The most accurate information we can provide you with regarding any product’s size will be its exact measurements available by clicking the “view size chart” button on the product page.

Product measurements: We provide detailed measurements for many of our products online. You can find this information by clicking on the 'View Size Chart' tab. Measurements are taken by us as accurately as possible with products lying flat on a table.

Still unsure about a product's size? If you are still unsure about any product’s size, please contact our Customer Care team so that we can assist you further. If detailed measurements are not already available online, we can email you the information within one business day.


Checkout

You can add and remove products from your shopping bag before you checkout. On the checkout page you can enter a new address, or select an address you have previously used. You can also select a shipping method, as well as enter your payment information. When you are ready to place your order, click confirm.

Shopping at Le Galeriste.com is safe. Personal information provided on art-a-porter.com is transmitted through a secure server using Secure Socket Layering (SSL) encryption technology. For more information, please consult the Security & Terms section.


Promotional codes

You may enter your promotional code or coupon within your shopping bag (first step of the checkout process). Click on “Add Gift Card or Promo Code” button at the bottom lefthand side of the page.


Payment

We currently accept payment by Visa and MasterCard.

Upon receiving your order, we carry out a standard pre-authorization on your payment method to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfill the transaction.

If the billing information is incorrect or incomplete, we may contact you for confirmation before your order is shipped.


Sales tax

Orders shipped outside of Canada are not subject to any sales tax. Orders shipped to:

- Quebec is subject to 5% GST and 9.5% PST on the purchase amount, or a total sales tax of 14.975%.
- Ontario is subject to 13% HST.
- Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are subject to 15% HST.

Any other Canadian provinces or territories are subject to 5% GST.


 

Order confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation email a few minutes after you place your order. Please check your junk or spam folders if it does not appear in your inbox.

Please review the order confirmation and contact Customer Care if you see any errors. You can also review the details of your order from your Le Galeriste account, under Order History.


Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order within 1 hour upon placing it by clicking the “Cancel Order” button on the Order View platform. The link to this platform can be found in your order confirmation email. 


Order Status

You can verify the status of your order by  following the link provided to that effect in your order confirmation email.

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been shipped.


Currency

Pricing and currency are displayed according to the IP address of your device.

If you are accessing our website from within Canada, prices will be shown in CAD.

If you are accessing our website from outside of Canada, prices will be shown in USD.

We are unable to offer our Canadian clients pricing in USD and vice versa.
