Jana Matusz, from Arlington, MA, studied painting at Harvard University, Oxford, Krakow's Academy of Fine Art, and Massachusetts College of Art. She taught for many years at the college level, and continues to teach selected workshops and classes.
Jana works en plein air, on-site, exclusively from direct observation. She finds inspiration in nature and landscape, and especially loves the strong, powerful rocks of coastal Maine and New England.
