Peggy Cyphers is a painter, printmaker, and professor based in New York with a studio in Tribeca. Her works have been shown nationally and internationally with over 30 solo exhibitions and 200 group exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. Cyphers received numerous awards for her work including NEA, Elizabeth Foundation, Peter S. Reed Foundation, P.S.1 Residency, Art Omi, Yaddo, among others. Her works have been reviewed by The New York Times, Art in America, New York Observer, Artforum, etc. Through Cyphers’s fascination and deep reverence for the diversity of all creation, her paintings and prints are born to reconnect humanity and its experience with nature.
