Finnish American oil painter Irmeli Ylinen has been an artist for over 20 years painting landscapes, still-lifes and portraits. In her landscape paintings she is drawn to convey nature's beauty and peace. With its power to calm, recharge and heal, she hopes her paintings help counter the turbulent world around us. Aside from having a BA degree and performing Graduate Studies in painting, she is always looking for ways to grow as a painter and has exhibited her paintings in the US and internationally.
